The premise

A group of strangers try to survive the first 24 hours of an undead invasion.

When the dead suddenly rise in a quiet small town, a mismatched group of survivors must figure out how to stay alive through the most terrifying day of their lives. Inspired by the legacy of George Romero's classic zombie universe, this series cranks up the chaos and carnage from the very first episode.
