A scrappy film crew sets out to fake their way into television with a ghost-hunting show, rigging elaborate special effects to manufacture scares for a broadcaster. But when something genuinely sinister begins to make itself known on set, the line between staged fright and real terror starts to dissolve. What began as a cynical media pitch becomes a desperate confrontation with forces no amount of production trickery could have prepared them for.
