In the sun-scorched Nevada desert, a group of strangers — a family, a writer, a couple, and a hitchhiker — are violently corralled into the ghost town of Desperation by a terrifyingly unhinged sheriff. What seems like the act of a lone psychopath reveals something far older and more malevolent lurking beneath the abandoned streets. With no easy escape and dwindling numbers, the survivors must reckon with a force that defies rational explanation. Based on Stephen King's novel, this TV movie trades jump scares for mounting dread and spiritual confrontation.
