The premise
Friends become increasingly addicted to a video game that has an evil agenda.

A group of college friends stumble into dangerous territory when a mysterious video game begins to consume their waking lives — and possibly much more. As the line between gameplay and grim reality blurs, disturbing visions and violent impulses take hold of those closest to the screen. What begins as digital entertainment slowly reveals itself to be something far older and far more sinister than any of them bargained for.
