The premise
A band of soldiers is dispatched to war games deep in the woods. When they stumble across a rival team slaughtered in camp, they realize they're not alone.

A routine military exercise in the remote Scottish Highlands turns into a desperate fight for survival when a squad of British soldiers stumbles upon something that shouldn't exist. Outgunned and far from help, the men take refuge and attempt to hold their ground through a long, savage night. Director Neil Marshall delivers a lean, adrenaline-fuelled siege film that wears its creature-feature heart on its blood-soaked sleeve. Sharp banter and genuine camaraderie between the soldiers give the horror real stakes.
