A newly hired nurse arrives at a remote psychiatric facility already shadowed by violent tragedy, only to find the patients far more dangerous than any orientation could have prepared her for. Walls close in as trust erodes and the line between caregiver and captive grows dangerously thin. This low-budget early-70s shocker earned its infamous 'video nasty' reputation through raw, unrelenting dread rather than polished filmmaking.
