Horror Vault's take

When a blown tire leaves a carpool of young travellers stranded on a desolate stretch of road, they quickly realise something far more sinister than bad luck is at work. An unseen sniper has them pinned down in the open, turning every desperate attempt to escape into a life-or-death gamble. Director Ryûhei Kitamura strips the premise to its raw, merciless core — no safe cover, no easy outs, and no shortage of shocking carnage. It is a punishing siege film that refuses to let its characters — or its audience — breathe.
