The premise

When a lawyer shows up at the vampire's doorstep, he falls prey to his charms and joins him in his search for fresh blood. Enter Professor Van Helsing, who may be the only one able to vanquish the Count.

Horror Vault's take

Mel Brooks takes the cape off Dracula's menace and replaces it with punchlines in this affectionate spoof of the classic vampire legend. Leslie Nielsen plays the Count with his signature deadpan absurdity, turning centuries of bloodsucking dread into gleeful slapstick. A hapless lawyer becomes the vampire's unwitting accomplice, while the legendary Professor Van Helsing rallies to stop the chaos before it spreads.
