Horror Vault's take
When four women are hired to clean out a decrepit old house, the last thing they expect is a mysterious ancient tome to show up at their door. A curious reading session from the book's dark pages tears open the boundary between reality and the cartoon world, releasing a bloodthirsty animated menace into their midst. Equal parts low-budget horror and gleeful self-parody, Evil Toons leans hard into its B-movie charms with a wink and a grin. Genre veterans David Carradine and Dick Miller add a touch of cult-film credibility to this anything-goes creature feature.
