The premise
A doctor is shocked when his beloved colleague Mima signs a contract with foreign car manufacturer Ferat, in order to work for them as a rally-driver. A scientist convinces him that human blood is being used as fuel for Mima's ever winning car, but does that really work?

In this darkly inventive Czech genre hybrid, a doctor grows increasingly alarmed when his colleague Mima becomes the star driver for the mysterious foreign automaker Ferat — and a scientist plants a deeply disturbing theory about what really powers the team's unbeatable racing car. The film blends Cold War-era paranoia with vampire mythology in a way that is as satirical as it is genuinely unsettling. Equal parts conspiracy thriller and creature feature, it asks uncomfortable questions about what — and who — fuels the machinery of success.
