The premise

Camp counselors are stalked and murdered by an unknown assailant while trying to reopen a summer camp that was the site of a child's drowning.

Deep in the New Jersey woods, Camp Crystal Lake is set to open its gates again after years of dark history — but someone is determined to make sure that never happens.
