The premise
In 1990, at a secluded community center, the custodian murders all the guest lodgers and kills himself. Ever since, on every Old Year's Night, paranormal events begin to take place within the building. Eventually, the center is shut down and left abandoned for years. A renowned paranormal investigator who had lost his mother during an exorcism and three college students who heard about the rumor of the unexplained phenomena heads over to the building, resolved to uncover the buried secret.

A cursed community center in South Korea has been the site of inexplicable terror every New Year's Eve since a horrific mass murder in 1990 — and now it sits abandoned, waiting. When a seasoned paranormal investigator haunted by his own tragic past joins a group of curious college students to probe the building's dark history, they quickly learn that some doors are better left unopened. Guimoon blends Korean supernatural folklore with claustrophobic haunted-location tension, delivering a slow-burning descent into dread. What lurks inside the lightless door may be far more malevolent than any of them bargained for.
