The premise

Radio personalities Larry Abbot and Vickie Pearle are stars of a mystery show. Since they announced their engagement, Larry has been plagued by speech problems and, seeking out an unconventional cure, he returns to his boyhood home, a mansion in the countryside, bringing Vickie along. Larry reunites with numerous family members, but discovers that there are sinister things afoot within the walls of the creepy estate.

When radio star Larry Abbott begins suffering mysterious afflictions after announcing his engagement, he heads back to his eccentric family's sprawling country estate in search of a cure — with his fiancée Vickie in tow. What unfolds is a madcap blend of old-Hollywood horror homage and screwball comedy, as the happy couple discovers the mansion hides far more than dusty heirlooms. Strange relatives, sinister goings-on, and plenty of stormy nights keep the laughs and shivers coming in equal measure.
