The premise

Three detectives trying to stop a diabolical serial killer are sucked into a maze of otherworldly horror, where hellish denizens including the Auditor, the Assessor, and the Jury await to pass judgment.

When a trio of detectives closes in on a sadistic serial killer, their investigation drags them into a grotesque underworld presided over by a new hierarchy of infernal beings. The Cenobites have expanded their ranks, and souls here are processed through a nightmarish bureaucratic ritual of confession, assessment, and verdict. Pinhead looms over it all, but fresh faces in Hell's hierarchy signal that the franchise is pushing into new and unsettling territory. Fans of extreme practical effects and pitch-black theology will find plenty to sink their teeth into.
