The premise
The Munsters come to America to search for Herman's brother-in-law Norman Hyde, only to find out that he has turned himself into Brent Jekyll, who is running for congress, and Grandpa must make a formula to change Norman back.

The beloved monster family packs their bags and heads to America on a mission to track down a wayward relative who seems to have reinvented himself far from his monstrous roots. What unfolds is a fish-out-of-water romp as the Munsters navigate everyday American life while Grandpa works his alchemical magic to set things right.
