The premise
An amusement park mogul offers a random group of diverse people $1 million to spend the night in a decrepit former mental institution.

A flamboyant millionaire bankrolls a twisted overnight challenge: survive until dawn inside an abandoned mental asylum with a blood-soaked past, and walk away with a million dollars. A mismatched group of strangers accepts the bet, only to discover that the building itself may have no intention of letting anyone leave. As the night deepens, the line between human threat and something far older and darker begins to blur. This slick late-90s remake amps up the visceral energy of the Vincent Price classic with modern set-piece scares and a darkly comedic edge.
