The premise
A high-school student and a drug pusher land in a nuclear-wasted river and come out zombies.

When a bad drug deal goes sideways near a radioactively polluted river, a high-school kid and a shady dealer both end up taking an unplanned dip — and neither comes back quite human. What follows is a campy 1980s romp that pits the undead against the backdrop of suburban teen life. Equal parts gross-out comedy and low-budget creature feature, it leans hard into the era's love of punk soundtracks and B-movie irreverence.
