The premise
Young Gregory Tudor sees his local ice cream man murdered and later grows up to inherit his business, opting to inject gruesome ingredients—including human body parts—into his frozen confections. When one of the neighborhood boys goes missing, the local kids suspect Gregory and band together to get to the bottom of things.
Horror Vault's take
A childhood witness to violence grows up deeply disturbed — and takes over the local ice cream route with a very special recipe that goes far beyond milk and sugar. When neighborhood kids start noticing something is very wrong with the friendly man in the truck, they launch their own amateur investigation into Gregory's frozen horrors. Equal parts gross-out splatter and knowing camp, this 1995 cult oddity leans hard into its B-movie premise with gleeful bad taste. Clint Howard commands the screen in a lead role tailor-made for his distinctively off-kilter screen presence.
