The premise

When a young ski team training for the Olympics arrives at the remote and isolated Lost Mountain Ski Resort to focus on training, they're thrilled to find a retired Olympic skier is there to help them train. But their plans are halted when a scientist working at a nearby government lab arrives with the horrifying news that a top secret Government project has produced giant spiders and they have escaped, killing and eating everything in sight.

A remote ski resort becomes a hunting ground when a clandestine government experiment escapes containment in the form of massive, ravenous spiders. A group of Olympic hopefuls and resort staff find themselves cut off from help and fighting for their lives on the snow-covered slopes. Equal parts creature feature and tongue-in-cheek action romp, Ice Spiders leans hard into its B-movie premise with snowy set pieces and oversized arachnid mayhem. It's the kind of film that knows exactly what it is — and has a blast with it.
