Set before the events of the original films, Insidious: Chapter 3 plunges into the origins of psychic Elise Rainier's involvement with the terrifying realm known as The Further. When a teenage girl desperate to contact her deceased mother reaches out to the beyond, she inadvertently draws the attention of something far more sinister than she bargained for. With her father powerless against the encroaching darkness, it falls to a reluctant Elise to confront her own fears and face the evil threatening to consume the young girl. This prequel expands the franchise's mythology while delivering fresh chills rooted in grief and supernatural dread.
