The premise

Three sisters and a group of their friends take a trip to the home of the recently deceased grandfather -- who died a particularly grisly death -- to learn more about the promise of an inheritance, only to encounter a family of psychos who have taken up residence in the old man's cabin.

When three sisters learn they may have inherited property from their recently and gruesomely deceased grandfather, they round up a group of friends and head out to claim what's theirs. What greets them at the remote lakeside cabin is far worse than a legal dispute — a deranged family lurking in the backwoods with no intention of letting visitors leave. Lake Dead leans hard into backwoods slasher territory, trading atmosphere for relentless brutality. Fans of no-frills, kill-heavy horror will find exactly what they came for.
