A graduate student takes a research position with an eccentric zoologist at his fog-shrouded remote estate, where the resident primates are far more intelligent — and dangerous — than anyone anticipated. When people start disappearing and an aging orangutan named Link begins to assert an unnervingly human cunning, survival becomes the only priority.
