The premise
Lalo is a teenager tormented by the recent death of his dad, and being forced to move to an old house with his grandmother Elena. After taking his dad's old wristwatch, the ghost of a young girl begins to haunt him. Now, Lalo's life is in danger as he tries to unfold the mysterious ghost who keeps frightening him, hoping to stop her from dragging him for good.

Still reeling from his father's death, teenage Lalo is uprooted to his grandmother's old home in Mexico — a place that seems to hold more history than anyone will admit. When he discovers a keepsake belonging to his late father, a relentless spectral presence latches onto him and refuses to let go. Set against the eerie waterways of Xochimilco, the film weaves together personal grief and supernatural dread as Lalo races to uncover the truth behind his ghostly tormentor. The answers he finds may run deeper into his own family than he bargained for.
