Set against the brutal backdrop of the War of 1812, Mohawk plunges a young Indigenous woman and her companions into a desperate fight for survival when a ruthless squad of American soldiers hunts them through the unforgiving forest. Director Ted Geoghegan crafts a lean, ferocious chase film that doubles as a meditation on colonial savagery and resistance. The wilderness becomes both battleground and character as the hunters and hunted trade increasingly savage blows, and the line between justice and vengeance blurs with every bloodsoaked encounter.
