The premise
When brothers Josh and Mike go to a small southern town for a vacation, they find most of the residents either dead or missing. Mike soon disappears as well, leaving Josh to team up with the local sheriff and school teacher to find him in a town that’s hiding a dark, twisted secret.

Two brothers arrive in a sleepy Southern town expecting a relaxing getaway, only to discover that something has gone horribly wrong with the locals. When one brother vanishes into the eerie quiet, the other must join forces with the town sheriff and a schoolteacher to unravel a deadly secret buried beneath the community's surface. This low-budget 1984 chiller blends rural paranoia with science-gone-wrong dread, delivering a grimy, tension-laced ride through a town where the wrong people are still walking around.
