Equal parts low-budget science fiction and exploitation horror, Nightmare Weekend leans hard into 1980s excess — think mutating flesh, mayhem, and practical-effects carnage. It's the kind of unhinged B-movie curiosity that somehow involves a puppet and a computer, and is all the wilder for it.
