The premise

Horror Vault's take
Set against the turbulent political backdrop of 1980s South Korea, this Korean crime thriller follows a detective whose seemingly open-and-shut serial killer arrest rapidly unravels into something far more disturbing. As the investigation deepens, certainty gives way to doubt, and the line between justice and corruption grows dangerously thin. Caught in a web of institutional pressure and moral compromise, the detective must confront how far the system will go to maintain its version of the truth. A taut, character-driven story where the real threat may not be the man in custody.
