The premise
Joong-ho is a dirty detective turned pimp, who's in financial trouble as several of his girls have recently disappeared without clearing their debts. While trying to track them down, he finds a clue that the vanished girls were all called up by the same client, whom one of his girls is meeting with right now.

A disgraced ex-cop running an escort operation begins connecting the dots when his girls start vanishing — and realizes one of them may be in a killer's hands right now. What follows is a ferociously tense manhunt through the streets of Seoul that refuses to play by genre rules. Rooted in a real case, the film delivers procedural dread alongside brutal violence, never letting its morally compromised protagonist off the hook. It is the rare thriller where catching the monster may be the easiest part.
