The premise
After being captured and tortured by the psychopath Otis, teen cheerleader Riley Lawson escapes and informs her parents, who quickly sidestep sluggish FBI agents and take matters into their own hands. But the Lawsons' revenge plan hits a snag when Otis's unusual brother enters the picture.

A suburban family's nightmare turns darkly comedic when their daughter survives an abduction by a deeply disturbed killer and the bumbling FBI response pushes her parents to pursue justice themselves. What starts as a straightforward tale of predator and prey quickly spirals into something far stranger and more anarchic. Otis gleefully skewers both the slasher genre and middle-American family dynamics in equal measure, never letting the audience get too comfortable in either the horror or the laughs.
