The premise
In the Old Stone Age, a disparate gang of early humans band together in search of a new land. But when they suspect a malevolent, mystical, being is hunting them down, the clan are forced to confront a danger they never envisaged.

Set against the brutal, unforgiving landscape of the Pleistocene era, a small clan of early humans pushes into unfamiliar territory desperate for safety and sustenance. What begins as a grueling fight against the elements takes a darker turn when the group becomes convinced something — or someone — is stalking them from the shadows. Ancient fears and fractured trust within the group prove just as deadly as whatever lurks beyond the firelight. Out of Darkness strips horror back to its most elemental form, asking how different our ancestors really were when faced with the incomprehensible.
