In a desolate near-future America, a scientist finds himself in a desperate race against time after his own creation — a lethal parasite — takes up residence inside his body. Teaming up with a resourceful young woman, he must search for a cure while navigating a lawless wasteland populated by violent locals and a ruthless government agent hunting him down. The threat comes from every direction: from outside, and horrifyingly, from within. This early-80s creature feature blends post-apocalyptic grime with squirm-inducing body horror.
