The premise
A comatose hospital patient harasses and kills through his powers of telekinesis to claim his private nurse as his own.

Deep within a hospital ward, a patient locked in an unresponsive coma is far from powerless — his mind reaches beyond his motionless body in deeply disturbing ways. When a new nurse is assigned to his care, she becomes the unwilling focus of an obsession that defies every medical explanation. Australian genre cinema rarely got this strange or this unsettling, blending clinical dread with psychic menace to chilling effect. The walls of the ward offer no real protection from what lurks behind Patrick's open, unblinking eyes.
