The premise
In the peaceful Colorado town of Snowfield, something evil has wiped out the community. And now, it's up to a group of people to stop it, or at least get out of Snowfield alive.

When two sisters arrive in the picturesque Colorado mountain town of Snowfield, they find it eerily deserted — its residents either missing or dead under deeply disturbing circumstances. A small group of survivors, including a sheriff's deputy and a brilliant scientist, scrambles to understand what predatory force could have wiped out an entire community so completely. What follows is a race against time as the military closes in and the truth behind the massacre proves far stranger and more terrifying than anyone imagined. Based on a Dean Koontz novel, Phantoms delivers old-school creature-feature dread wrapped in a sci-fi mystery.
