The premise
After landing on a mysterious planet, a team of astronauts begin to turn on each other, swayed by the uncertain influence of the planet and its strange inhabitants.

When two spacecraft answer a distress call from a fog-shrouded alien world, the crews find themselves gripped by a malevolent force that pits them against one another. Mario Bava's stylish Italian genre gem fuses gothic atmosphere with cosmic dread, coating every frame in an ominous coloured mist. As astronauts struggle to hold onto their identities and their lives, the planet reveals itself to be far more dangerous than any void of space they have crossed before.
