The premise
To his mute sister's dismay, a young boy puts a dying rabbit out of its misery with a brick -- and soon the siblings end up in a world of nightmares.

A single act of violence against a small animal sets two siblings on a harrowing descent into a reality that bends and fractures around their darkest fears. This Japanese horror film leans into the surreal, conjuring an atmosphere closer to a fever dream than a conventional ghost story. The boundary between the waking world and something far more sinister grows increasingly difficult to locate, and the rabbit at the centre of it all refuses to stay buried.
