In a ravaged future where civilization has crumbled and men have become monstrous aggressors, a group of survivors clings to a desperate plan: go back in time and stop the catastrophe before it begins. This fourth entry in the Japanese exploitation series doubles down on its gonzo, low-budget sensibility with equal measures of schlock horror and gratuitous excess. The origin of the outbreak remains tantalisingly out of reach, keeping the stakes high as the clock — and the body count — ticks upward.
