The premise
Convinced of the final outcome, a team of scientists travels back in time to stop the spread of a virus turning men into zombified rapists through society and causes them to finally uncover the source of the deadly disease which causes them to attempt to stop it before it happens again.
Horror Vault's take
The fifth and apparently climactic entry in this Japanese exploitation series escalates its trashy premise to a sci-fi extreme, sending a team of researchers back through time in a desperate bid to choke off the zombie-virus outbreak at its source. Equal parts low-budget splatter and softcore provocateur, the film leans hard into its gonzo genre mashup of undead horror and time-travel thriller. Fans of Japanese pink-horror excess will find the series signature blend of flesh and carnage cranked up for a grand finale. Whether it lands as satire or pure schlock may depend entirely on the viewer's tolerance for extreme exploitation cinema.
