The premise
A group of U.S. soldiers on a mission in the Middle East find themselves with nothing to do in their free time. Out of sheer boredom they end up destroying an old statue in the desert, only to unleash a horrific entity.

Stationed in the unforgiving Afghan desert, a squad of American soldiers make a fateful mistake when idle hands lead them to destroy a mysterious ancient statue. What they unknowingly release is far older and more merciless than any enemy they were trained to face. As the men begin to suffer increasingly disturbing experiences, the line between the horrors of war and something truly supernatural starts to blur. The desert itself seems to turn against them.
