The premise
Kate and Martin escape from personal tragedy to an Island Retreat. Cut off from the outside world, their attempts to recover are shattered when a man is washed ashore, with news of airborne killer disease that is sweeping through Europe.

A couple seeking solace on a remote island after a personal tragedy find their fragile peace destroyed when a wounded stranger arrives bearing terrifying news of a lethal pandemic sweeping the continent. With no means of communication and no way off the island, the three must navigate mounting suspicion, fear, and desperation in increasingly close quarters. The film is less concerned with spectacle than with the psychological pressure that builds when safety and truth become impossible to verify.
