The premise
Young police officer Maddy is determined to live up to her deceased father's legacy. Her courage is put to the test when locals are found brutally ripped to shreds by the zombie kangaroo. As the undead beast leaves a trail of carnage, Maddy, with the help of her eccentric Uncle Schmitty and resilient Aunt Donna, must embark on a high-stakes battle to save the town.

Deep in the Australian outback, a small town faces a threat unlike anything on the books: a kangaroo that shouldn't be walking at all, let alone killing. Rookie cop Maddy is desperate to prove herself worthy of her father's badge, but nothing in her training prepared her for this. With an unconventional family unit at her side, she wages an increasingly desperate fight to stop the carnage before the body count climbs any higher. Part creature feature, part small-town survival thriller, Rippy leans hard into its outrageous premise with outback grit to spare.
