The premise

Fleeing the wreckage of an abusive relationship, a young woman seeks refuge on a remote farm outside Atlanta — only to discover that the countryside holds dangers far darker than the life she left behind. What begins as a desperate fresh start curdles into a waking nightmare as the farm's sinister secrets slowly surface. Equal parts slow-burn dread and visceral horror, Slaughter trades on the unsettling feeling that no sanctuary is ever truly safe.
