A prestigious English boarding school — with all its rigid hierarchies and old-money traditions — is thrown into bloody chaos when fracking operations on the grounds tear open a sinkhole that releases something far worse than a PR nightmare. What begins as a fish-out-of-water story for a new student quickly escalates into a full-scale battle for survival against creatures that have been buried far too long. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reunite on screen in this gleefully irreverent horror-comedy that skewers British class culture as savagely as its monsters skewer the student body. Expect carnage, laughs, and a healthy disgust for the landed gentry.
