The premise
A documentary filmmaker's research on a town's mysterious benefactor unearths an unexplained evil while staying at a local resort.

When a documentary filmmaker travels to a remote resort town to investigate its enigmatic founding figure, she begins uncovering a history far darker than any archive can explain. The deeper she digs, the more the line between research and dangerous fixation begins to blur. Something ancient and malevolent seems to have been waiting in the cold river valley all along, and it does not take kindly to being disturbed.
