The premise
When students in their high school begin inexplicably exploding (literally), seniors Mara and Dylan struggle to survive in a world where each moment may be their last.

Something catastrophic and completely inexplicable has started happening to the senior class — and there's no warning, no pattern, and no way to hide. Amid the chaos, two classmates find themselves drawn together in a relationship born out of shared absurdity and genuine terror. Spontaneous balances jet-black comedy with raw emotional weight, asking what love and growing up mean when tomorrow is genuinely uncertain. It's funnier than it has any right to be, and more heartbreaking than you might expect.
