The premise
Taking a wrong turn, travelers find themselves trapped in a mysterious house. One horror after another threatens them, as the sorcerer who lives within needs sacrifices to give eternal life to his beautiful bride.

When a group of travelers stumbles upon a remote and seemingly abandoned mansion, they quickly discover that escape is not an option. An ancient sorcerer lurks within its walls, and he has sinister plans that require unwilling participants. Each room and corridor brings a new nightmarish threat — from creatures of the occult to monstrous surprises — in a relentless parade of horror set pieces. Spookies is a gleefully unhinged cult oddity that throws everything at the wall with wild, practical-effects enthusiasm.
