The premise
Francesca is a pediatrician who is dedicated to both motherhood and children, married to another physician, Pedro. After the birth of a new child, Francesca begins to suffer from postpartum depression. Following the advice of friend and psychiatrist Jean, the couple move to a new home away from the city…

When pediatrician Francesca begins unraveling after the birth of her latest child, she and her doctor husband follow a psychiatrist friend's counsel and retreat to a quieter life outside the city. What was meant to be a healing refuge quickly reveals a darker edge, as Francesca finds herself caught between the symptoms of postpartum depression and something far more disturbing lurking in her new surroundings. The line between psychological crisis and genuine supernatural threat grows increasingly difficult to draw, keeping both Francesca and the viewer perpetually off-balance.
