The premise

Backwoods bounty hunter Hub Halloran comes back from the dead with an unexpected second chance at life, love, and a nearly-forgotten musical career — only to find that his old job now has a demonic new twist.

Hub Halloran has always made his living tracking down people who don't want to be found — but dying and coming back changes a man's perspective, not to mention his job description. Now operating somewhere between the living and the dead, this backwoods bounty hunter discovers his new lease on life comes with strings attached of a seriously demonic variety. Part blue-collar character study, part supernatural dark comedy, The Bondsman balances genuine dread with dry humor and a streak of Southern gothic charm. Kevin Bacon leads the charge in what promises to be one of the wilder genre mashups of 2025.
