The premise
While at a slumber party, twelve-year-old Olivia is blamed for the horrific and mysterious death of her friend after singing a song, created by a reclusive mastermind, Milo, which summons a demonic figure known as “The Crooked Man.” Returning to her hometown six years later, a string of unusual deaths lead Olivia to believe that she’s still being haunted by whatever she saw that fateful night. Once you sing the rhyme, everyone in the house is cursed to die by his hands.

A childhood slumber party game goes catastrophically wrong when young Olivia unknowingly sings a nursery rhyme that summons a terrifying demonic entity known as The Crooked Man. Years later, she returns to her hometown only to find that the nightmare she thought was behind her may never have truly ended. With bodies piling up around her, Olivia must confront a evil that has waited patiently for her return. The Crooked Man blends classic creature-feature menace with a curse mythology rooted in an eerily catchy bit of verse.
