What begins as a straightforward investigation into potential negligence or fanaticism quickly pulls her into a deeply unsettling world where the line between madness and genuine evil becomes impossible to trust. The film layers courtroom mystery with creeping supernatural dread, forcing both its protagonist and the audience to question what they believe.
