The premise
Pop singer Vicki Robbins collapses from exhaustion while shooting ta music video; her physician prescribes a respite on Seagull Island with beekeeper Ralph Hargrove. Initially finding the Hargroves' bitter marital strife oddly relaxing, the arrival of specially-bred attack bees pushes Vicki to her survival instinct.

A exhausted pop singer is sent to a remote island for rest and recuperation, only to find herself caught between feuding locals and a terrifying swarm of specially-bred killer bees. What begins as a quiet rural retreat turns into a desperate fight for survival as the deadly insects prove far more dangerous than any stage fright. This understated British chiller leans on atmosphere and creeping dread rather than spectacle, letting its claustrophobic island setting do much of the heavy lifting.
